Dear Frank & Construction Crew,

I am not sure that I can properly put into words how much Ric and I appreciate the care and workmanship that you put into rebuilding my dad's Nags Head cottage. We truly appreciate each of you for taking so much pride and care into making it the beautiful home that is is now. My mom and dad would love the changes.

As you well know, it was a very emotional day when Ric and I arrived to find the cottage filled with water. Thankfully, God was looking out for me when I called A-1 and Vern. I can thank Vern for then calling you. People that I tell abou the experience cannot believe how quickly everyone responded the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and how long and hard everyone worked until Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving.

We then had to put our trust in you to repair the damage.Frank you were a "saint" to put up with me and the constant changes. Between the phone calls and the e-mails, I know that I drove you crazy. The construction guys were wonderful and very professional. I cannot thank them enough for the quality of the construction. I would be remiss if I did not say a special "thank you" to David. You are so fortunate to have a construction supervisor like David.

While our year long journey has come to an end the memories will live on each time we visit the house. It is absolutely beautiful. Although the work is done, I do hope that the friendship continues.

Again, from the bottom of my heart "Thank You."

Sincerely,
Dorothy and Ric

We are very pleased with the way everything has turned out at the cottage! It looks quite good both inside and out. We stopped by and told Terri that we really liked the flooring and appreciated her suggestions. Really like the tile at the front door! The cabinets look great! We will enjoy having the extra space in the corners! Like the deep drawers too! Please extend our appreciation to Jeff for his work and expertise. We appreciated his offering us different options. Though you can't see all of the work that went into replacing the damaged wood around the door and front windows, we know what was involved and again appreciate so much your work and attention to detail. It has been great working with you and your crew. Our best to David. You made a messy situation very bearable and provided a great outcome! We know where to come for our next venture. Hopefully it won't be an emergency!

--Warmest Regards, Peggy

Our sincere thanks to you and your team for the great job you did in replacing our roof. From start to finish, everyone was professional, courteous and made the whole process an easy one. We won't hesitate to recommend you to friends and neighbors!

October 16, 2007, we had a water pipe that came loose and flooded our condo and the two below us. We have been in constant contact with Frank and his people since that time.

On Monday, March 26, 2007, the movers brought our furniture and other belongings back to the condo. During this time, Frank was consistently available and his presence and assistance was invaluable to us. He was always polite, courteous and displayed a demeanor of compassionate caring that is not normally seen in individuals in his capacity.

Frank telephoned me on the evening of this move and offered assistance in any possible way, and inquired as to our personal welfare. This is almost unheard of in today's world. Our heartfelt thanks for this type of attentiveness is overwhelming and our gratitude to him cannot be expressed in a simple letter.

It was quite a refreshing change to work with professional, reliable people. Frank was honest and dependable from the very beginning. The problems with our house were clearly defined and then rebuilt with both quality materials and quality workmanship.

When dealing with a company that is working for you in an away location, it is so important to feel that you can trust them to do the job correctly and honestly. We are so pleased to have found this with Gallop.

Thank you so much for a job well done.

Dear Frank,

As you know, we had contracted with Gallop Roofing in the past for minor roof repairs caused by storm damage and were very satisfied with the work that had been done on those occasions. So, when we continued to experience a persistent leak, we called on Gallop to investigate the problem. While we were, of course, hoping for a minor repair, it became evident that we were dealing with serious hidden damages to our home. Because of our past experiences with Gallop, we were confident in the advice we were receiving from you as to the direction that we should proceed to solve the problem.

Living on Hatteras Island and working in Property Management, we are very familiar with the phrase "island time". We have dealt with companies who are not very timely with their response. So, it is quite refreshing to deal with a company that is very prompt to respond and whose workers come to work on time each day and put in a full days work...qualities shared by all the employees we dealt with at Gallop.

It is not without hesitation that we entrust the keys to our home to someone with whom we have very limited history. It became necessary to do just that, however, during the course of the project when we had to go out of town on two different occasions. I guess that sometimes you just have a feeling of confidence that you are dealing with a trustworthy person and that is the confidence level we had in your foreman, David Rule. Every step of the way David was a gentleman, always willing to answer our questions and keep us informed. His co-workers, Dominic Piosczyk, Kain Slowikowski, Todd Wolff, and Robert Spencer were polite and hard working, dealing with less than ideal conditions as they completed this job during one of the hottest summers that we can rememeber since moving to Hatteras Island. All of the men are certainly an asset to Gallop. We hope that you will share this letter with them and also express our appreciation to them.

While it was not "good news" to hear that our home, built in 1998, had to undergo such extensive repair, it was a blessing to be dealing with a company that allows us to have the confidence that the job was completed properly and, most importantly, a company that will be there to answer the phone after the final check has been cashed.

Frank, thank you very much. You are a true professional.
