The congregation of Manteo First Assembly and I would like to say a big thanks to you and your fine company for fixing the leaking roof in our Youth House.

Since water was leaking onto our electronic equipment, it was an especially needed and greatly appreciated fix. It’s nice to know that we live in this kind of helping community.

Thank you again for your investment into the live of our Roanoke Island teenagers and for making sure their building continues to be a great place for them to meet.

Pastor Steve,

Thank you so much for the gutter! The Cub Scouts had so much fun with the “raingutter regatta”. It was a big favorite.

Tom, OBX Day Camp Director

Thank you for your prompt response when I called with the problem.

Thanks for doing such a good job. I am very pleased with the work.

Thank you so much. Joshua, Elbert and Justin were friendly and professional. We really appreciate a job well done.

Bob and I could not be any happier with the work you did on our home. The transformation was amazing. We knew it would look better, but this is beyond our expectations.

Thank you so much for all your hard work and the many hours you spent here. If you are ever in the neighborhood, drop by and say “Hi” or just drive by and enjoy looking at the great job you did.

Robin and Bob,

We appreciate being able to call on you for small jobs and not just big ones like the April slider and window repair and re-installation.

Thank you Gallop Roofing and especially Elan who has been with us through several problems that he has resolved. And, his concern of making everything right! We will continue to utilize your service in the future due to yours & especially the service of Elan.

Rich and Shirley,

Thanks for your quick response on May 31st. Your workers were polite and professional. They did a good job.

As you know, we had contracted with Gallop Roofing in the past for minor roof repairs caused by storm damage and were very satisfied with the work that had been done on those occasions. So, when we continued to experience a persistent leak, we called on Gallop to investigate the problem. While we were, of course, hoping for a minor repair, it became evident that we were dealing with serious hidden damages to our home. Because of our past experiences with Gallop, we were confident in the advice we were receiving from you as to the direction that we should proceed to solve the problem.

Living on Hatteras Island and working in Property Management, we are very familiar with the phrase “island time”. We have dealt with companies who are not very timely with their response. So, it is quite refreshing to deal with a company that is very prompt to respond and whose workers come to work on time each day and put in a full days work…qualities shared by all the employees we dealt with at Gallop.

It is not without hesitation that we entrust the keys to our home to someone with whom we have very limited history. It became necessary to do just that, however, during the course of the project when we had to go out of town on two different occasions. I guess that sometimes you just have a feeling of confidence that you are dealing with a trustworthy person and that is the confidence level we had in your foreman, David Rule. Every step of the way David was a gentleman, always willing to answer our questions and keep us informed. His co-workers, Dominic Piosczyk, Kain Slowikowski, Todd Wolff, and Robert Spencer were polite and hard working, dealing with less than ideal conditions as they completed this job during one of the hottest summers that we can rememeber since moving to Hatteras Island. All of the men are certainly an asset to Gallop. We hope that you will share this letter with them and also express our appreciation to them.

While it was not “good news” to hear that our home, built in 1998, had to undergo such extensive repair, it was a blessing to be dealing with a company that allows us to have the confidence that the job was completed properly and, most importantly, a company that will be there to answer the phone after the final check has been cashed.

Frank, thank you very much. You are a true professional.

Bill and Roxanne,

It was quite a refreshing change to work with professional, reliable people. Frank was honest and dependable from the very beginning. The problems with our house were clearly defined and then rebuilt with both quality materials and quality workmanship.

When dealing with a company that is working for you in an away location, it is so important to feel that you can trust them to do the job correctly and honestly. We are so pleased to have found this with Gallop.

Thank you so much for a job well done.

Vernon and Brenda,

October 16, 2007, we had a water pipe that came loose and flooded our condo and the two below us. We have been in constant contact with Frank and his people since that time.

On Monday, March 26, 2007, the movers brought our furniture and other belongings back to the condo. During this time, Frank was consistently available and his presence and assistance was invaluable to us. He was always polite, courteous and displayed a demeanor of compassionate caring that is not normally seen in individuals in his capacity.

Frank telephoned me on the evening of this move and offered assistance in any possible way, and inquired as to our personal welfare. This is almost unheard of in today’s world. Our heartfelt thanks for this type of attentiveness is overwhelming and our gratitude to him cannot be expressed in a simple letter.

Edward and Lois,

We want to say thanks to you and your employees for the professionalism and good work during the repairs/renovations at our home. It is a good feeling knowing that there is a company such as Gallop Roofing & Remodeling that we can count on, and who is determined to make things right.

We would like to thank Marvin and Chuck for their diligent work. They are thorough and knowledgeable in so many areas of work. They treat your home like it is theirs. They do excellent work; they are people that you want in your home.

A special thanks to Frank Slowikowski for his exceptional efforts assuring that things were completed properly. Frank’s honesty, integrity, and work ethic are certainly an asset to the Outer Banks. Frank’s ability to view the situation from the customers’ standpoint is superior customer service.

Thank you for a job well done. We look forward to our continued good working relationship.

Regg and Mary,

Our sincere thanks to you and your team for the great job you did in replacing our roof. From start to finish, everyone was professional, courteous and made the whole process an easy one. We won’t hesitate to recommend you to friends and neighbors!

Phyllis and Bill,

We are very pleased with the way everything has turned out at the cottage! It looks quite good both inside and out. We stopped by and told Terri that we really liked the flooring and appreciated her suggestions. Really like the tile at the front door! The cabinets look great! We will enjoy having the extra space in the corners! Like the deep drawers too! Please extend our appreciation to Jeff for his work and expertise. We appreciated his offering us different options. Though you can’t see all of the work that went into replacing the damaged wood around the door and front windows, we know what was involved and again appreciate so much your work and attention to detail. It has been great working with you and your crew. Our best to David. You made a messy situation very bearable and provided a great outcome! We know where to come for our next venture. Hopefully it won’t be an emergency!

I am not sure that I can properly put into words how much Ric and I appreciate the care and workmanship that you put into rebuilding my dad’s Nags Head cottage. We truly appreciate each of you for taking so much pride and care into making it the beautiful home that is is now. My mom and dad would love the changes.

As you well know, it was a very emotional day when Ric and I arrived to find the cottage filled with water. Thankfully, God was looking out for me when I called A-1 and Vern. I can thank Vern for then calling you. People that I tell about the experience cannot believe how quickly everyone responded the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and how long and hard everyone worked until Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving.

We then had to put our trust in you to repair the damage. Frank you were a “saint” to put up with me and the constant changes. Between the phone calls and the e-mails, I know that I drove you crazy. The construction guys were wonderful and very professional. I cannot thank them enough for the quality of the construction. I would be remiss if I did not say a special “thank you” to David. You are so fortunate to have a construction supervisor like David.

While our year long journey has come to an end the memories will live on each time we visit the house. It is absolutely beautiful. Although the work is done, I do hope that the friendship continues.

Again, from the bottom of my heart “Thank You.”

Dorothy and Ric,

I’m pleased and appreciated past experiences when calling Gallop Roofing concerning problems. I have always gotten prompt service.

Gallop Roofing did a great job on my house at Colington Harbour. The roofing adds significantly to the look and overall quality of the house. The finished job adds a lot of class to what is only a simple little cottage.

You people keep me in a state of shock. Every time I have opened a billing from you I am amazed with the reasonable pricing. You must have a great deal of honesty running loose in your fine company.

As you know, your company recently stripped the old shingles from the roof of our house in Hatteras and installed new shingles.

We are quite satisfied with your company, the workers who did the work and with their workmanship.

Before work started, at the outset of our discussions, I appreciated your professional manner and, in particular, your prompt response to my many questions.

Your men arrived on the day and at the time you said they would. They began work right away. Each man knew what he was to do and did that portion of the total job. There was care and attention to detail, such as the placement of the ‘ice and water’ layer along the roof edges and in the valleys and the aluminum trim a the roof edges.

I really appreciated the clean up after the project. They picked up all the pieces of old shingles from our yard and the neighbor’s. They went over the ground below the house with powerful magnets to gather all the nails that were loosened when the old shingles were removed. I checked that work with my own magnet and found no nails. The large dumpster was removed within an hour after their last visit.

The man who ran the crew, Angel, was polite and patient with my efforts to remove and later remount the solar collectors. The two men who you went to specifically help with that procedure, Tucker and Marvin, were very helpful. There is no way that I could have performed that task without that help.

Thank you for running your business in a professional way and for retaining good employees.
